Remember to register for Hilton’s summer promotion, Go More Get More, if you plan on taking a vacation before school resumes. It’s one of the more rewarding programs this summer thanks to two different bonuses through September 8, 2019.
First, you can earn double points on every stay beginning with your second stay. That means if you would normally earn 1,000 points you get 1,000 more. If you would normally earn 5,000 points you get 5,000 more. You don’t need to have a minimum number of nights, and all properties are eligible. The only downside, like I said, is that the bonuses begin on your second stay after registering.
Second, you can earn even more bonus points when you complete 10, 15, or 20 stays during the promotional period. Get 10,000 bonus points for your 10th stay, 15,000 bonus points for your 15th stay, and 20,000 bonus points for your 20th stay. This is in addition to the double points you earn already.
Hilton Honors points aren’t the most valuable, so don’t get too excited just yet. For example, I value them at around half a cent each. But even 10,000 bonus points would be worth about $50.
Eligible stays include both stays booked with points and those booked with cash, so you can continue earning even as you draw down your account. This won’t help you earn double points if you aren’t spending any dough, though it will help you get closer to the 10, 15, and 20-stay bonus thresholds. Be sure to register before you stay!
