I just found a great deal flying from Seattle WA to Dublin, Ireland in business class on Icelandair.
If you live on the west coast and you want to visit Ireland from October 1, 2020 through March 27, 2021, this sale is for you. The normal business class fare on Icelandair from Seattle (SEA) to Dublin, Ireland (DUB) is $3,300 in Sega (business) class. This sale has the fare down to as little as $1,140 ($1,165 average search price) in Sega class. This is a short-term sale and may only be for today. Regardless, the sale seats will undoubtedly go fast. Icelandair has an added perk for a free stopover in Iceland. See the airline website for details.
Here Is My Deal
I used Matrix ITA to find the best dates at the best price for a four-night trip. Here are the results for the dates that I want to fly:
This price is about one-third of what it should cost for business class on this route for an early Spring trip.
Mileage Credit
Icelandair is partners with Alaska and JetBlue. I chose to credit these miles to my Alaska Airlines account. Here is the mileage earning rate for Alaska Airlines:
This itinerary in “A” class will earn 11,360 Alaska Airlines elite qualifying miles (EQMs).
Final Thoughts
With a business class deal like this, it doesn’t pay to stay home. If you are looking to fly from the west coast to Ireland from October 2020 through March 2021, this sale is for you. I know a good deal when I see one, my wife and I just booked this deal.
