On Wednesday, Alaska Airlines officially became a member of the Oneworld alliance. I was able to attend the Alaska Airlines and Oneworld webinar where Alaska Airlines Ben Minicucci and Oneworld CEO Rob Gurney hosted a question and answer session. You can read my post from the press conference here.
The first of three Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 aircraft rolled out of the paint shop sporting the new “Oneworld” livery. The video below shows how the crew in the paint shop repainted a 737-900 to honor the new partnership. You will see the magic that was used to transform this aircraft from old livery to new in the one-minute video. Enjoy.
