A few new limited time Amex Offers are available that might warrant some attention. Remember that you will need to register the Amex Offer to your card before any spending will count. Some offers may be targeted, so make sure to check each one of your Amex cards. If an offer is available on more than one card, you can complete it on each card!
Hulu – $50 Off $50
Usually Amex offers don’t actually make things free, so this Hulu offer is a pretty great one. You can pick up an extra few Membership Rewards points when you make the purchase and get nearly six months of Hulu for free if you choose their lowest plan ($7.99 per month + tax, limited commercials). You can’t prepay and receive the entire credit at once, so you’ll be billed monthly. This does mean that you either need to remember to cancel or decide you want to keep Hulu because you’ll continue to be billed at $7.99 per month until you do cancel. Offer expires February 24, 2018.
Hotels.com – $10 Off $50
This is a nice little rebate if you don’t always use points to book your hotels or aren’t loyal to a specific brand. I almost always use Hotels.com to book boutique hotels or hotels where I don’t care about status benefits. They have a pretty good rewards program of their own too – stay 10 nights, get 1 free. If you snag this $10 off $50 deal from Amex you can even do better than that! Offer expires June 18, 2017.
AT&T – 2,000 MR Points or $20 off $200 (Can Use 3 Times!)
If you have your cell phone contract through AT&T, you won’t want to miss this chance to earn bonus Amex points or some cash back for paying the bill you already have to pay. You do have to make the full $200 payment in one go in order to trigger the Amex Offer, but if your bill is less than that you are allowed to pre-pay. New phone purchases will not trigger this offer. Now we just need Amex to make similar offers available for other carriers! Offer expires August 15, 2017.
All three of these are pretty solid Amex offers that will allow you to either get a little extra back for spending you are doing anyway or try out a new service for free. I definitely intend to use the Hotels.com offer and try out a few months of Hulu for free. Unfortunately, I don’t have AT&T, so that offer doesn’t help me earn any extra points!
