The Marriott hotel brand is one of my favorite and is my go to hotel brand while traveling. I don’t know if I actually like the Marriott’s better than say Hyatt, SPG or the Hilton Family, but in my line of work, it seems that my company has always preferred the Marriott family to any other, therefore I’ve grown accustom the brand and I am quite happy with it. (Although I honestly think I just love the concierge lounge access after just 50 nights a year) Each quarter Marriott offers a promotion, trying to get business travelers and high volume leisure travelers in the door. This winter, Marriott offered a Mega Bonus and this spring Marriott is offering a similar promotion called Marriott Rewards® Unexpected Bonus
The Marriott Unexpected Bonus, has the same rules and terms as the Mega Bonus, so what’s unexpected about it is: the Mega Bonus is being repeated this Spring/Summer! Marriott Rewards Members can earn up to 35,000 bonus points for staying 20 nights in any Marriott property.
• Register by July 31, 2013
• Stay 15 paid nights at any participating hotel between May 15 and September 2, 2013
• Earn 25,000 bonus points, plus an additional 10,000 points after 20 paid nights (up to 35,000 points)
This promotion is now open for registration and runs May 15, 2013 – July 31, 2013.
35,000 points is enough for any Marriott Property on a Point Saver Award or 1 night at any category 7 or below properties. With point redemptions starting as low as 7,500 points a maximum of 4 nights could be earned at a category 1 hotel, 3 at a category 2, or 2 at a category 3! My favorite Marriott hotel is the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel, a category 4 property costing just 20,000 points a night.
If you find yourself traveling, a lot this late spring/early summer then jump on this promotion and top of your Marriott Account with the bonus points, after all this is another Mega Bonus!
