Singapore Airlines has released details on their new First, Business and Economy Class products. These new seats will begin to roll out in September on select flights between London and Singapore.
The first class seat offers a great deal of personal space. The seats are 35 inches wide and 82 inches in length. These seats offer enhanced lighting and a 24 inch LCD screen.
The new business class seat, which will replace the existing Singpore business class seat, maintans their forward facing design of their existing product and several seating positions including Lazy Z and Sundeck mode. The seats feature an 18 inch LCD screen.
Economy seats promise more personal space through the use of innovative materials. Each Economy Class passenger will have access to an 11″ LCD with more than 1,000 movies on-demand with the new KrisWorld entertainment system.
The new seats and cabins will be installed on their 777-300ER and A350 aircraft. In addition, Singapore will be rolling out the Panasonic’s eX3 in-flight entertainment system including Panasonic’s Global Communications Suite which will provide broadband Internet services, similar to those business phone and broadband deals.
