I honestly do not know who Hyatt is targeting or how I was selected, but I do know that I have actually never spent a single night in a Hyatt Hotel anywhere in the world. I have always been a Marriott/Hilton guy as they have more worldwide properties than Hyatt and because for the last two years my work has had contracts with both Marriott and Hilton, requiring most of my stays to be booked at our lower cooperate rate. However, a newer Hyatt Place just opened up near my work place so this promotion gives me a good excuse to go and check it out!
Speaking of which, what is your favorite Hotel chain and why? I have 9 months left on my contract and have the same cooperate rate available at all three chains, either at Hyatt Place, Hilton (Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, or Homewood Suites), or Marriott (Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, Springhill Suites, Residence Inn, TownPlace Suites) . Which would you choose and why?
