With Air Berlin‘s launch of their new fully flat business class seat they are also changing their amenity kits. Two of the kits available are from Institut Karité and from Tumi.
The Karité kit include: socks, eye mask, ear plugs, collapsible travel toothbrush with GUM toothpaste, Institut Karite Lip Balm with 6% shea butter and Institut Karité Extra Gentle Body Milk. The bag itself is pretty light weight with a clam shell design. It opens wide making it easy to find everything, but also easy to drop the contents on the floor. There is a narrow pocket in the lid.
The Tumi kit includes: socks, eye mask, ear plugs, Rituals Lip Balm, Rituals Face and Body Moisturizer and a collapsible travel toothbrush with GUM toothpaste. This kit is made of much thicker material and the toiletry bag design keeps everything snug and secure inside. It has a few small open pockets along each inside wall so you can tuck the lip balm, toothbrush and other small items into easier to find spots. Its one draw back is that the bag is black, all black. It’s pretty hard seeing what’s inside this bag. It would be nice if the inside were a brighter color.
