In what is the first promotion I’ve seen by a U.S. carrier to combat the decline in travel, Alaska Airlines is offering its members a 50% bonus in elite qualifying miles (EQM). That means for every mile you fly on Alaska Airlines you’ll earn a minimum of 1.5 elite qualifying miles. First class fares earn additional EQM already and will also get a 50% bonus. You must register before flying.
This promotion is only eligible for flights between March 7 and April 11, 2020 and must be on flights marketed and operated by either Alaska Airlines or Horizon Airlines. Marketed means you have an “AS” flight number. Operated means you see the Alaska Airlines name on the side of the plane.
Stack this with some of Alaska’s great fare sales, like $20 one-way tickets between San Jose and Los Angeles or $99 from California to Hawaii!
Terms & Conditions

The bonus elite-qualifying miles awarded as part of this promotion apply only to the number of miles that count toward elite status qualification and will not be available for redemption.
