The Alaska Airlines Credit Card is among one of my favorite credit cards in my wallet due to unique perks that are not found on other credit card products out there. Not to mention my absolute appreciating for Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan which ranks at the Top of J.D. Power and Associates Airline Loyalty/Rewards Program Satisfaction Report and has the best award redemptions for travel. This program is not only rewarding, but the credit card has hidden unpublished perks that only card holders are probably aware exist.

Unpublished Benefits of the Alaska Airlines Visa
Free Wine Tasting
As the airline continues to grow and improve, so does the Bank of America co-branded credit card which now offers free wine tasting at over 40 wineries in the state of Washington! This new perk can easily save a couple hundreds of dollars of years on wine tastings, as a single tasting usually costs between $5 and $20 depending on the winery. Easily making the $99 annual fee well worthwhile!
The promotion in Woodinville Wine Country does not have an expiration date, but does cover one person’s tasting cost by just flashing their Alaska Airlines Credit Card. For a full list of wineries and details check out the Woodinville Wine Country website.
Quarterly Promotions
Bank of America is constantly sending me promotion encouraging me to make the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card my card of choice. Promotions have included 3 miles for every dollar spent at Hotels, $50 off flights after spending $250 at select retailers, 2 additional miles for a total of 5 points of every dollar spent on Alaska Airlines Flights, and more.
Free Entrance to 150+ Museums
Flash your Visa and your ID at museums in just about every state to gain free access for one during the first full weekend of every month. From The Met in New York City to LACMA in Los Angeles or explore SAM in Seattle, the Alaska Card will get you in for free!
BankAmeriDeals
BankAmeriDeals are similar to Amex Offers and allow card members to add special deals to their cards to save up to 15% on select retailers. Promotion are always changing and can allow for big savings for card holders.
Refer a friend Bonus
Cardholders can refer friends to this card to earn an additional 5000 miles per friend who is referred and signs up for the card. All you need is your friend’s full name and e-mail address to refer them. Those who are referred to the program will be granted a 30,000 mile bonus upon approval with no spending requirement!
The Alaska Airline Visa Signature is a fantastic way to top off your Alaska Airlines accounts with 30,000 bonus miles and a great way to earn additional miles through promotional offers. No other airline affiliated credit card offers 3 miles per dollar spent on airfare, as cards for American, United, Delta, etc only offer 2 miles per dollar. In addition, the hidden perks really add to the overall value of this credit card and are the reasons why I carry this credit card.
If you are considering getting the Alaska Airlines Credit Card, let me refer you by sending an email to rocky@upgrd.com. Or refer your own friends if you already have this card, because nothing is better than free miles and Alaska Airlines miles are extremely valuable with one of a kind partners such as Emirates, Hainan, Fiji Airways, IcelandAir, and traditional alliance carriers such as Cathay Pacific, KLM, Qantas, British Airways, Delta, American, Korean Air and more!
Unlike other bloggers and other “travel blog websites” I do not make money by referring credit cards or telling readers about credit cards.I have no relationship with the banks. I blog because I like to keep people informed. There is no second motive in my referral, except maybe the chance of earning some additionl miles for a referral bonus for a credit card I actually carry!
