How about an amenity kit that looks like a mini Rimowa luggage case? A few airlines offer these on occasion in their premium cabins. I have only had one opportunity to pick one up, on my flight on the Thai Airways A380 between Frankfurt and Bangkok. Thai Airways Rimowa First Class Amenity Kit
I was excited to finally have one of these Rimowa kits for myself. Others have discussed these kits before here, including James, on his Thai A380 First Class flight to Paris. On to my review.

Bag/Container: The case is not only cool, it is reasonably functional. I haven’t reused it, and I likely won’t, as I prefer traveling with a soft sided case, but this is excellent. Score: 5
Product: Skincare products by L’Occitane and oral care items by Thai provider Fluorcaril. Included in the kit are hand lotion, some Eau de Toilette (cologne) and lip balm. There is also mouthwash, and toothpaste and toothbrush. These are nice, but somewhat the bare minimum I would expect for a first class kit. Score:4
Comfort items: Included are some thin socks, a satin-like eye mask and some soft foam earplugs. Score: 3.5
Miscellaneous items include a folding hairbrush comb combination. Not something I typically use, but for an amenity kit, this is one of the nicer brushes I’ve seen. The toothpaste is a nice travel sized tube, and the toothbrush if full sized. Score 3.5
Extras: This is probably the nicest part of the offerings for First Class passengers besides the Rimowa case. Thai provides their Royal First passengers with a nice pair of soft pajamas. They are lightweight cotton/poly blend, oddly in a neoprene-like case. I’ve received Thai pajamas before, but I liked this set more, a more pleasing and neutral light brown color versus baby blue that I’ve had in the past. Score: 5
I gave this Thai Royal First Amenity kit an overall rating of 4.2. A pretty solid rating for a First Class. As always, the best feature of flying Thai Airways in Royal First Class is the ground services in Bangkok.
