Following on last week’s announcement, I’ve made further updates — and a feature upgrade — to the Award Maximizer. Changes to Avianca LifeMiles pricing for many awards to or from Oceania went into effect on Monday, and these are now reflected in the prices you’ll find in the results.
In additional, the eligible dates for seasonal pricing on ANA awards have been updated. These are only valid for flights operated by ANA, and in general the most restrictive dates apply. Prices have not changed. Just the eligible dates have been corrected.
In the process I realized that I have one of the most comprehensive collections of award chart data at my disposal.I’ll be looking into a way to visualize it with Tableau as soon as I clean up the data and have the time. If you have a particular analysis in mind, please let me know.
