Bottom LineCruising to Antarctica is among the most enjoyable things you can do. I use to hate the idea of getting on a ship until I went to Antarctica. Going to Antarctica is not a cruise. There are not predetermined stops, infrastructures, or daily excursions. Instead it’s an expedition where the stops are decided by the expert expedition team based on weather, animal spotting, and where other ships are. Daily activities are enrichment activities. You get to attend awesome educational seminars and do zodiac rides around giant ice bergs and of course do daily landings and hikes on Antarctica. Go where almost no one else go, stand where no one else has! Antarctica is magical. If you thought Alaska or the Norwegian Fjords are beautiful, even the Swiss alps has NOTHING on Antarctica.
Trips are all inclusive of tons of extras and include charter flights between Buenos Aires and Ushuaia to make it easier to plan your vacation and get to the ship. There’s also an included pre-night hotel on most trips in Buenos Aires.
