British Airways is quickly growing their US and worldwide network as people are eager to travel again. After two years of off and on lockdown and travel restrictions, people are ready to travel. British Airways is ready to help bring people to and from the United States and beyond. British Airways is adding destinations to their network and restarting some routes. British Airways Portland Service
Originally announced in 2020, British Airways is finally starting service to Portland, Oregon. After being delayed due to covid-19, British Airways is starting service, nearly two years later. British Airways will offer the only nonstop service from Portland to the UK. British Airways will us a Boeing 787-8 five days a week. Nonstop service between Portland and London Heathrow on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights leave Portland PDX at 6:55pm and arrive in London LHR at 12:20pm. The reverse leaves London LHR at 3:15pm and arrive in Portland PDX at 5:05pm. Flight times both ways allow connections in Europe and beyond.
Portland airport already has a few connections to Europe. These include Icelandair to Reykjavik and Condor to Frankfurt. Delta operates a flights to Amsterdam. The direct flight to the U.K. opens new opportunities for travelers. Portland represents British Airways 6th destination on the West Coast. Other West coast destinations include San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, and Seattle. Plus Vancouver just north of us.

For the summer of 2022 you can find the British Airways A380 back on several routes in the United States. You can find the British Airways A380 serving Miami, San Francisco, Washington Dulles, Dallas, Boston and Chicago. And again, Vancouver as a bonus city close to many of us on the West Coast. As British Airways prepares for the summer, they will add back Pittsburgh on June 3 and San Jose, California on June 13. Bringing their entire network to 26 US destinations. British Airways has already added back several destinations cut during the pandemic. Such as Austin and New Orleans. Their network between the USA and the U.K is back and nearly stronger than ever.
