This photo is another from a past trip that has brought back a flood of memories of my experiences.
This particular photo isn’t of a particular building, but rather a unique part of a classic city. It is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Can you name this historic city or better yet, the area where this photo was taken?
Where was this photo taken, what is this place called, and what is the story behind this unique location?
Have you visited there?
This is part of a “photo flashback” series of photos I’m sharing from my travels through the years. I hope readers will enjoy the ‘tour’ as much as I have enjoyed reminiscing about the trip where I took this photo.
This photo is from Edinburgh, Scotland. Alan was the first to correctly name the city, and Gordon correctly guessed the specific location, one of the many ‘closes’ off of High Street looking towards Princes Street and the new town. Thanks for your responses.
