Hilton Honors has unveiled the 2017 App Bonus. This promotion offers 500 Hilton Honors Bonus Points per completed stay from February 7 until December 31, 2017 that was booked via the Hilton Honors App. There’s no limit to how many bonus points you can earn. The Terms & Conditions have been posted.
This promotion is in addition to the Hilton Spring Promotion, “2K Every Day,” where members can earn 2,000 points every day of every stay. This means that for a one-day stay booked through the app, you can earn 2,500 bonus Hilton Honors points by combining the two promotions.
Which Hotels Are Included?
The promotion is good at all Hilton properties. This includes Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Canopy by Hilton, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Embassy Suites, DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Grand Vacations, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Home2 Suites, Hampton and Tru by Hilton.
Is This Valid for Existing Reservations?
If you already booked a stay through the app, you should also receive the bonus points. The terms state that “as long as the member is registered for the promotion prior to check-out of the stay and the reservation is for an eligible stay. Regardless of when a reservation was booked, any registered guests with nights within the Promotion Period will receive the promotion bonus.”
Do Rewards or Points & Money Stays Count?
According to the terms, no, since anytime you use points, it counts as a Rewards Stay. According to the Hilton terms, “if at least one night of the Member’s stay is consumed with the use of Hilton Honors Rewards Points, the entire stay is considered a “Reward Stay” and no Hilton Honors Points may be earned, except that if Member is using Room Upgrade Rewards, any money spent on the original reservation will earn points and/or miles consistent with these Terms.”
