UPDATE: Miles to Memories received an interesting email saying that this promotion was a mistake, but gave no indication as to whether the deal will be honored. I, for one, tend to think that there’s NO WAY this could have been a mistake given there was a full Terms and Conditions page, and that, as I stated above, someone was able to call in and get the deal. If anything Expedia underestimated the popularity of this promotion and is looking for a way out. Let’s hope they honor everything!
UPDATE to the Update: This promotion has now ended.
Many are reporting that the Expedia coupons that I wrote about last night are no longer working, and calling it a “dead” deal. I confirmed this by trying to book several hotels online that worked for me yesterday, and today they are not working.
- Save $100 on any stay of 3+ nights using coupon code: DISCVR105
- Save $150 on any stay of 4+ nights using coupon code: DISCVR151
- Save $200 on any stay of 5+ nights using coupon code: DISCVR201
This is a definite YMMV as it may have been simply a manual override, but be sure to have the coupon codes ready anyway. This deal really is an excellent deal, as you can live in nice hotels for about $10-$15 a day if you plan this right. That’s cheaper than most peoples’ rent at home…and with free housekeeping!
Good luck, and keep trying!
