As I’ve said before, usually gift card deals aren’t great for manufactured spending because the volume at which you can buy and liquidate them is just too low. Sometimes, however, deals become available that can be good for MS and your wallet. When you can get Amazon credits while also getting a gift card that you know you’ll make use of later on, that’s usually a good deal.
Amazon.com is currently selling three versions of Nordstrom $100 holiday gift cards, and they’ve tacked on a $20 Amazon credit for free. Many people will easily find a way to spend both gift cards in relatively short fashion, especially during the holidays.
Here are your options:
$100 Nordstrom Gift Card in a Gift Box and $20 Amazon.com Gift Card
$100 Nordstrom Holiday Shining Star Gift Card and $20 Amazon.com Gift Card
$100 Nordstrom Gift Card and $20 Amazon.com Gift Card
The only difference between the three are the card design and/or packaging. The first two are packaged more nicely and are more suitable as a gift.
If you were thinking of buying something from Nordstrom anytime soon, or if you planned on giving a Nordstrom gift card to anyone as a gift, then this deal should be an absolute no brainer. I suspect many will take advantage of this, so if you’re one of them then do so quick. These deals generally don’t last more than a few hours.
Update: And somehow I forgot to mention, but don’t forget to use your Chase Freedom card for 10x points or your Discover card for 5x cash back. If you’re shopping using Chase Freedom, it’s almost like getting $30 free!
