If you’re traveling this weekend on a GoGo wifi equipped flight, you can get 30 minutes of free wifi on your smartphone, thanks to a promotion from GoGo and Allstate. These promotions have popped up every now and then for the past year or so. Judging from my social media, a lot of frequent and infrequent flyers I know are traveling this weekend, whether it’s for the Charlotte DO, springtime graduations, and/or Mother’s Day.
Our friends @Allstate are helping you stay connected this weekend with @Gogo – enjoy 30 minutes of surfing of your mobile device today!

GoGo has been steadily increasing their prices recently, and I’ve responded by not using in-flight wifi as often as before. As a tip, if you are planning on using in-flight wifi, it’s always best to check GoGo’s website before your flight, since prices will be lower than when you check in-flight.
One of the more popular posts I wrote last year was using Delta’s promotion with Blackberry for free wifi to get free wifi on all your devices. I haven’t tried that technique in a long time, and I don’t think it works anymore, but it might be worth a shot. Has anyone been able to get mobile pricing on a laptop lately?
