Hilton HHonors has been running a promotion for much of the year called Double Up, offering double points on every stay and at every hotel. It’s refreshing in its simplicity since there are no hoops to jump through, although it may lack the big numbers that help some other promotions stand out.
These double points apply only to the base points on your reservation, which is 10 points per dollar at most hotels. That means you’ll now be getting an extra 10 points per dollar, or a total of 20 points per dollar before adding in other ways of earning points thanks to elite status, a Hilton credit card, or using Points & Points as your preferred earning method. It’s not difficult to earn 30-40 points per dollar with Hilton once these are added up.
As before, there are no hotel restrictions, no stay requirements, and nothing else you need to do except register for the promotion in order to earn double points. The new registration page is not yet available, but you can still visit the page for the current promotional period, which will probably be updated in the near future.
