Hilton Hotels announced today that they are launching a new promotion featuring actress Rosario Dawson. Hilton wants to let you know that they and Puerto Rico (tourist areas) are well and open for business. The promotion is offering special pricing at their Puerto Rico properties and a chance to win a three-night, four-day trip to Puerto Rico.
Hilton says the campaign “Carry On Puerto Rico” features actress Rosario Dawson, whose family hails from the island. The campaign captures the spirit of one of the Caribbean’s most-treasured destinations and conveys how visitors, especially those coming from the U.S., can immerse themselves in the island’s natural beauty as well as its vibrant and rich culture — from its best-in-class beaches to its lively music and diverse local cuisine, all within reach with just a short flight and a carry-on bag.
The Promotion
Hilton has teamed with Rosario to come up with a truly unique promotion.

Hilton commissioned four local and influential artists to paint suitcases with unique scenes of Puerto Rico along with the tropical and historic experience. My Take on this Promotion
I have to take my hat off to Hilton Hotels for promoting travel to Puerto Rico. This island suffered a lot of damage from recent hurricanes but the tourist areas were spared. The artist painted suitcases look great. Here is a chance to win a trip and a one-of-kind, artist-inspired suitcase.
