Norwegian’s rewards program, Norwegian Reward, now offers the ability to pool points across your family. In fact, up to seven people are allowed to contribute to each family pooling account.
Family accounts are entirely separate from individual accounts, and each Norwegian Reward member is allowed one of each. Each family account has a primary member who is allowed to invite additional family members to the pooling account. The primary member also can designate who is allowed to redeem points from the family account and who is only allowed to contribute. Note that you can really invite whoever you want to your family pooling account, members don’t actually have to be family members. The new family pooling accounts will help you earn enough points for a free flight faster than it was possible to before.
Norwegian Reward might not be a program you are overly familiar with, and might stay that way unless you are flying Norwegian. Since they are expanding further in the U.S., you just could find yourself on a Norwegian flight pretty soon.
