Qatar Airways recently opened their brand new lounge for premium cabin passengers at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and it looks beautiful! With five flights a day to Doha, Qatar Airways was using Thai Airways’ Royal Silk Lounges for their premium cabin passengers but now, Qatar Airways’ first and business class passengers can relax in their own dedicated space. The new lounge is located in concourse D of the international terminal, near gate D8.
My friend, Nando from Brazil, recently flew Qatar Airways First Class from Bangkok to Doha and got to visit the new lounge a few days after it opened. He’ll have a full lounge review coming up later but in the meantime, check out some of his pictures here.
A communal social area is located at the entrance. The design is very similar to the Qatar Airways Premium Lounge in Paris.
To the right of the entrance is small sitting area with beverages and televisions.
The Qatar Airways Premium Lounge is open to first and business class passengers but there is no separate area for first class passengers.
Beyond the main seating area is a dining area with an a la carte menu.
And a self-serve buffet area with a selection of both hot and cold dishes.
Shower rooms are also available to freshen up before your flight.
Thanks Nando for this sneak peak at Qatar Airways’ new lounge!
