Although I took this picture a while ago, it brings back great memories of traveling. This is one
of my favorite cities, even after visiting several times it never gets old. So much history, so diverse
and I can easily get by.
This bird (or others like it) can always be found in this location. In fact it's said that
if these birds get lost, bad things will happen to the people nearby.
Where was this photo taken, and what is the story behind this bird? Have you visited there?
This is the first in what I hope will be a series of photos from my travels through the years. I hope readers will enjoy the ‘tour’ as much as I have enjoyed reminiscing about the trip where I took this photo.

The Tower of London
I love London. This photo is of one of the ravens that are captive at the Tower of London. According to superstition, if the ravens are lost, the monarchy will fall. This photo was one I took on a trip way back in 2005.
London has been on display in 2012 with Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee, marking her 60th year on the throne, and of course the Summer Olympics and Paralympics. I havent been to London for a few years, but hopefully its not too long before I return. What are your favorite London memories?
