The Miracle Lounge at Bangkok Don Mueang airport offers a small but relaxing space for travelers to rest before a regional flight. As Bangkok’s DMK focuses on regional flights within Thailand and primarily South East Asia, there are no big sparkling lounges currently at DMK. However, there are several priority pass lounges and options for just about every credit card and lounge program possible. Miracle lounge is near gate 51, directly next to the other priority pass lounge.
Miracle Lounge Access
I was able to access the Miracle lounge via priority pass. I currently have priority pass via my American Express Platinum card. Yet the Miracle lounge also participates in several other lounge programs. From credit cards, to Thai Smile airlines, to buying a day pass, anyone who wants access can get access. Despite the large number of people who could access the lounge, during out visit it was very empty. Only three other groups were utilizing the small lounge.
The lounge is located in terminal 2 of Bangkok’s DMK airport. This terminal is only for domestic flights within Thailand. Currently, Thai Smile, Air Asia, Nok, Lion Air, and Thai Viet Jet serve DMK. Other airlines may also serve DMK, but these are the airlines I saw while flying from terminal two. The lounge is open from 05:30 – 18:00 daily. In terminal 1, the Miracle lounge is open 24 hours.
Miracle Lounge Food and Drinks
For a domestic lounge, Miracle lounge steps up it’s food and drinks game. Every thing is self service, but there’s a slew of options. Most options are Thai focus. To start, there is a small breakfast area and cold cuts for those not feeling the local cuisine.
Then there is a large hot buffet. This is my favorite part of the lounge. Offering several different vegetarian and meat options. All featuring local flavors.
Off of the hot food area there are several fridges. These focus on mostly drinks such as cold beer, wine, and water.
For those who need an energy boost. There are two different coffee machines. I wasn’t in the mood, but from what I hear Nescafe Alegria machines are decent.
There is also a self serve bar. Mix up a cocktail or indulge in a class or two of wine. Just don’t take anything away with you, as there is a sign warning you that you will be fined.
Finally, the finally fridge in the buffet and drink area is the desert and salad cooler. Here you’ll find both Thai and Western desserts. There is also fresh fruit.
Not pictured, there is a tea and soda machine. This is great for mix drinks or for those looking for a non alcoholic drink. Overall, shockingly awesome options for a small domestic lounge!
Miracle Lounge DMK Seating
The seating area takes up the entire right side of the lounge. Opposite of the bar and kitchen. There are a few different seating options depending on what people are looking.
Due to covid and social distancing rules there are red Xs on nearly every table. These are to suppose to represent social distancing. Basically, if someone is sitting opposite of the X, don’t sit there. If the lounge was at compacity, it could hold around 100 people. Yet as you can see by my photos, it was mostly empty.
Inside the DMK Priority Pass lounge, the Miracle lounge does offer restrooms’ and shower. I did not look for the shower, but I did see a sign for it near the restrooms’ near the bar.
Bottom Line
Overall, the Miracle lounge is a fine priority pass lounge. Bangkok Don Mueang airport offers several Priority Pass lounges. The Coral Executive Lounge is right next door and looks equally nice, if not nicer. However, dur to limited time I was not able to visit it. If you’re passing through DMK and have time to lounge, enjoy it. Free wifi, free food, and fee booze, equals a win to me!
