Delta Air Lines is back in Seattle trying to win over frequent flyers via their Seattle Seahawks sponsorship. Washington State residences can earn miles and board Delta flights early during the entire NFL Season. The Delta 12status is only open Washingtonians, but is a great way to earn free miles while supporting the Seattle Seahawks.
Free Delta SkyMiles
To earn free Delta SkyMiles and take part in the Delta 12status, you must first register. Then, after you register you can enjoy the perks of being the 12th man. Earning miles via this promotion requires zero effort. Just cheer on the Hawks and hope that Russell Wilson and team completes each pass! Participants will earn one mile for every passing yard accumulated by the Seahawks. during a regular season game.
Delta also says there will be bonus opportunities to earn additional miles. No bonuses have yet to be determined. I would watch Delta’s twitter, facebook, and the 12status dashboard for bonuses throughout the season.
More than Miles
At SeaTac airport, all 12s will receive early boarding on flights between August 17, 2017 and February 4, 2018. 12status boarding will be after Sky Priority fliers. Meaning First class passengers and mid to top tier elites will still be able to board the plane first. Per the T&C 12status members must show their 12status membership card to board early. In this case, I would pull up the 12status dashboard to prove my membership, as no physical 12status membership card is provided.
Delta is also offering several sweepstakes opportunities for 12status members.
